Serious Sanji started in South Florida and has been growing ever since, now with locations in Florida, Illinois, and Wisconsin. We've been with them since the North Miami location, over two years ago. The food was always there. The lines were real. The regulars were loyal. But the Instagram wasn't showing any of it.
We came in, spent time eating there first, and built a content strategy around what we actually saw: the Sanji buns coming off the pan, the soup dumplings, the bubble tea, the energy of a packed dining room. Then we showed up consistently across all four South Florida locations.
The strategy was simple: lean into the food. Serious Sanji's signature dish is the Sanji bun, a golden crispy-bottomed pan-fried bun bursting with hot savory juices. It's one of the most camera-ready things we've ever shot. Add the soup dumplings, the bubble tea, the energy of a packed restaurant, and the content wrote itself. We shot all of it, every visit, and edited it into the kind of content that makes people text their friends "we need to go here."
We posted 3–4 times per week, consistently. Always with trending audio selected the same week. Always with on-screen text that told the story quickly. Within three months, the account had tripled. Within a year, it had crossed 50K.
The key wasn't any single viral video. It was showing up every week and making content that actually looked like Serious Sanji. Not like every other restaurant Instagram.
